At Bowden, we believe the future of Manufacturing lies in the hands of the next generation. That’s why we created the Bowden Next Gen Program—a unique, hands-on opportunity designed to equip future Manufacturing professionals with the skills, knowledge, and confidence they need to succeed in today’s dynamic industry.
We’ve successfully brought more than 50 young Engineers onto our Team and currently there are 16 who are moving up the ranks and are valuable Teammates at Bowden. We have found that adding new Engineers to our ranks infuses all of us with enthusiasm and a healthy curiosity about why we do things the way we do.
When we spell out what our program offers, it’s easier to hire people right for the job – no surprises on either side of the equation reduces turnover and makes for a longer lasting and more satisfying relationship.
What follows is an example of how we present our Next Gen Program to potential hires on recruiting and job fair sites. You might consider some of the ideas we’ve used to engage Engineers in a similar fashion for your company.
